What blows my mind why people don’t seek professional advice. Specifically I’m talking about golf. I had a lesson last night with Dennis at Angus Glen and in about 2.5 seconds he pointed out why my drives were going right. He didn’t even watch a swing before he diagnosed the problem. It was amazing, when I played on the weekend I was hitting weak cuts and last night I was hitting a nice high draw. I really hope this swing finds its way to the Course when I play next.

I’m getting all wound up now and I feel a bit of a rant coming on…..things that happen on the golf course that piss me off….
Greens crew that start their maintenance on the first hole and then move towards the 18th hole. This is stupid, they end up disrupting people on several holes. If they would smarten up and start at 18 and move to the first hole then they will only distract a group once. This Saturday we had two girls raking bunkers on 3 consecutive holes and they also delayed us on the tee because they were driving up the fairway as we were about to tee off….. they were not wearing any head protection. STUPID!
On the range some dude is hitting balls and spreads his divots out over a 2 yard square of turf. Dude…. keep your divot pattern in a small rectangle! You are screwing up the turf for people who will be there after you and it makes it impossible for the greens crew to make that section of the range usable again.
When there is no marshal to maintain the pace of play.
When the marshal tries to speed you up even though you are playing to the correct pace.
Shite range balls
When the greens are punched but you don’t find out until you reach the first green.
no beverage cart until the 17th hole.

When you pull a brand new ProV1 and hit it into the rough near the mower. When you get up to the ball you discover that it has been mowed and your brand new $6.00 golf ball has been cut in half. It happened to me on Saturday July 26.
Greens crew that are totally inconsiderate to the golfers by not shutting off their tractors, mowers, trimmers, etc. while you are trying to hit a shot.

I think 10 is enough for today. I’m getting angry as I type.
