So I hear on the radio today that the Leafs have signed Nic Andropov to a 2 year $4.1 million contract extension. I’m not going to gripe about that because I really don’t have an opinion on who the leafs should or should not sign.
My gripe is what Nic said on the interview, and I’ll paraphrase.
“We have a good core of players who have been around for the past 6 years or so. We have good chemistry and we know what to expect next season.”
Nic… we all know what to expect. We expect to be disappointed. We expect you to miss the playoffs again. We expect that with the same players you will have the same poor results.
Its far to frustrating to think about the Leafs so I must stop.
Argo’s pre-season starts on Saturday, after that I’ll have something better to write about… ArrrrrrrGooooooooooSssssssss!

Let’s Go Hamilton, Let’s Go!! Think they’ll be called The Predators, or maybe The Steelheads like that not-too-bad program that couldn’t stay on the air? I say Fergie Jr. takes a run at signing Buffalo’s UFA’s Briere, Drury, Zubrus and/or Numminen, then maybe — from the Islanders: Jason Blake and/or Ryan Smyth… just kidding, he’ll probably keep trying to resign Gary Roberts and Jeff O’Neill.
