So I was listening to a song online last week that was a cool cover of  Redemption Song but Joe Strummer.  I thought is was pretty cool… so I send a MSN to a friend of mine who is a super Music Nerd.

I thought it was some new indy band…. the were called Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros.  Much to my surprise Joe Strummer is a super famous music legend…. co-founded a little band called The Clash…… ring any bells?  Not for this moron….. I kept trying to picture him but the only image I could get in my head is The Cult.  I am a Music Idiot!

This inspired a me to make a list of stuff that I don’t know…. or generally suck at…

1.  Music… famous bands… who is in a band…. just general music stuff….
2. Handy man type work.  I am useless when trying to fix things… or hang things… or anything that requires tools.  When it comes to this stuff… I’m the only tool!
3. Geography…..I’m a total dolt when it comes to knowing the location of other countries.  I can locate Canada, US, Mexico on a map…. but it would take some time for me to locate Madagascar.
4. Swimming.  I am  a very weak swimmer…. as a kid during swimming lessons I would pretend that I couldn’t hear the instructor so I could stop swimming.
5. Math.  I don’t need to expand on this.  Math is hard.
6. Restraint… when I decide I want something I just can’t wait.
7. Painting… OMG…. you don’t want to see me paint.  This should be number 1.
8. Spelling… my spelling is so bad that the spell check ususally doesn’t have a clue what I’m trying to spell.  Maybe this should be number 1.

Don’t think I’ll do much posting over the holidays…. but you never know.
